How to Show Your Deals on MAPS in 8020CRM
Direct answer: Open 8020CRM, select MAPS, choose Opportunity, and select the Salesforce list view that contains the deals you want to see. Wait for the map to refresh, then select a marker to confirm the deal. If you need disposition, transaction coordination, or closing work instead, choose Property Transaction and its appropriate list view.
This article covers the MAPS workspace in 8020CRM. It is not the separately licensed Salesforce Maps product or the Market record's Deal Drop link.
Before you start
Confirm that you can open the MAPS tab in 8020CRM.
Choose or prepare a Salesforce list view that contains the deal population you need, such as active or open deals.
Confirm that you can read the expected records.
Make sure each expected record has usable, nonzero latitude and longitude values.
For Property Transactions, confirm that the related Opportunity is present.
Choose Opportunities or Property Transactions
In 8020CRM, the right deal record depends on the work you want to map.
Opportunity: Qualified sales, acquisition, or retail work. This is the default deal view.
Property Transaction: Disposition, transaction coordination, or closing work.
The selector also supports Lead, Property, and None, but start with Opportunity when the request is simply to show deals. Changing the selected object or list view changes the population shown on the map.

Map a deal list view
Open 8020CRM.
Select MAPS.
In the selector above the map, choose Opportunity.
Open the list-view menu beside the selector.
Choose the Opportunity list view that represents the population you need, such as active or open deals.
Wait for the map to refresh.
Select a marker and review the record summary and related context.
Open the property-details pane when you need a list beside the map.
If you also need disposition or closing work, choose Property Transaction and select the correct transaction list view.
MAPS reads the Salesforce list views available to you. A different list view can produce a different set of markers even when the selected record type stays the same.

Review a marker before acting
Select a marker to verify that it represents the intended Salesforce record. For an Opportunity, the marker detail can include the deal, primary contact, stage, amount, owner, Property facts, and a link to the Salesforce record.
Open the related record when you need to confirm or update deal information. A marker is geographic context for an existing record; it does not replace the record itself.
What a record needs to appear
MAPS plots eligible records returned from the selected Salesforce list view, currently up to 2,000 records. Within that returned population, a record needs all of the following:
It belongs to the selected object.
It is included in the selected list view and returned within the current retrieval limit.
You can access it through the list-view request.
It has usable, nonzero latitude and longitude values.
A Property Transaction also needs its related Opportunity for the current transaction map view.
Keep deal mapping separate from new property search
Showing existing deals and finding new properties are different MAPS workflows.

Show existing deals: Use the record selector and Salesforce list-view menu.
Find new properties: Use location search or a supported map area, Filter, search limit, result and credit counts, and retrieval controls.
For a new property search, select a location or supported map area, open Filter, set only the criteria you need, and select Apply Filters. Compare Found, Limit, and Credits before retrieving results. After retrieval, review possible matches to existing Properties before creating, updating, overwriting, or ignoring selected results.
Provider configuration and available service balance apply to retrieving new property data. They are not the first place to troubleshoot an existing Opportunity that is missing from a list-view map.
Troubleshooting
MAPS is missing: Check the current app, app assignment, tab visibility, permissions, and license.
No deals appear: Check the selected object, selected list view, list filters, record access, latitude, and longitude.
An Opportunity is in a list but not on the map: Check its coordinates and whether the list view selected in MAPS includes it.
A Property Transaction does not appear: Check its coordinates, selected transaction list view, your access, and its related Opportunity.
The wrong records appear: Check the record selector, list view, owner or stage filters, and whether the page needs a refresh.
The base map is blank: Check browser content restrictions, network access, map service availability, and refresh the page.
New property search is disabled: Check search location, requested limit, displayed credit estimate, service balance, and setup.
The browser asks for your location: Allow it only when you want to center the map on your device. It does not populate deal coordinates.
A very large list can be incomplete. Narrow the Salesforce list view by owner, stage, market, or active-work criteria. MAPS currently requests up to 2,000 list-view records, so use a focused operational population rather than an unbounded archive.
Completion signal
Deal mapping is working when the intended object and list view are selected, the expected records with valid coordinates have markers, and selecting a marker opens or identifies the intended Salesforce record.
For a new property search, completion means the selected results have been retained as Property records and any requested follow-on records have been verified. Search results on the map alone are not the completion signal.
Pro tip: Start with Opportunity for a request to “show my deals.” Add Property Transaction when the user also needs disposition, transaction coordination, or closing records.
Pro tip: If one expected deal is missing, check list-view membership and coordinates before changing search settings or reviewing property-data credits.
Pro tip: Use a focused list view for owner, stage, or active-work criteria. The list view defines the deal population that MAPS attempts to plot.
